I know because I struggled to find what works for me.
There is so much information in the news, in books, on the internet and from friends and family. It’s hard to make heads or tails of it.
Eat meat/don’t eat meat. Eat grains/don’t eat grains. Eat dairy/don’t eat dairy. For every diet promoting one food, there is another telling you not to eat it. Vegan, Keto, Paleo, Macrobiotic, Autoimmune Paleo, GAPS – it’s enough to drive you mad.
How do you know what's a fad or what's real?
The reality is that these diets are starting points and it takes tweaking to adjust and adapt to how your body responds. And none of them are forever diets.
And as women, we need to take extra care to make sure we pay attention to our cycles and adjust and vary our diet to keep our hormones balanced.
